1982. The two founders meet and open their 1st multi-brand fashion store in Bordeaux.
1989. Beginning of the success story with the exclusive distribution rights for Dr Martens in France.
1996. Creation of the DDP brand, which very quickly becomes the leading streetwear brand with its cult figure Eggman.
2008. DDP becomes a brand made by women for women. The Mademoiselle DDP brand and a range of Fashion Leather Goods complete the collection.
2008. December 2008 : Opening of the first DDP concept store in Bayonne, followed by the inauguration of a concept corner at Galeries Lafayette in Paris
2011. Septembre : DDP celebrates its 100th store in France and takes its first steps beyond French borders with the opening of a new store in Bruges (Belgium) then Rome (Italy) and San Jose (USA).
2012. DDP is celebrating its 30 years of essential presence in the fashion world and has opened its flagship store in Paris, rue Saint Honoré as a complement to its other present boutique, rue Saint Dominique in the 7th arrondissement.

The stores are designed around the concept of a chic and welcoming dressing-room.
The clean lines of the metal look shop-front emphasize the shop windows.
The store is a story of contrasts : black and white, with the products providing
its colour, changing with the collections and seasons.

Attention to detail is everywhere : mouldings, a symbol of French elegance,
adorn the dressing-rooms. A suspended light surrounded by an elaborated web of wire takes centre stage in the store, a true reflection of the brand’s «hand-made» image.
Finely-worked curtains in a mix of materials invite a timeless fitting session in feminine dressing rooms. The store is influenced by the brand’s dual nature: chic and elegant, proud of its roots but also sleek and modern, focused on the future.
